Carey Bohjanen is a Senior Manager with Sustainable Finance Limited, providing consultancy services relating to the design, delivery and implementation of environmental and social ("E&S") risk management systems and tools for financial institutions. Carey brings to bear diverse private sector experience and a legal background to the development of sustainability policy and E&S risk analysis as well as procedures development. Recent projects include the development and delivery of customised E&S risk management systems as well as training and implementation programmes for a number of financial institutions including ABN AMRO, Banco Espirito Santos, Calyon, FMO, the Inter-American Development Bank, NIBC and Société Générale.

Carey previously practiced corporate law with Piper Rudnick (now DLA Piper) with a focus on Securitisations and Mergers & Acquisitions. She holds an International MBA from ESCP-EAP Paris (with a focus on sustainable development and emerging markets), a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, and completed an international law programme at Universiteit Leiden in the Netherlands.
